Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

A. General Requirements

The minimum standard requirements of Jurnal Audiens must be

  1. Written in Indonesian or English.
  2. The length of the submitted paper is at least 6 pages and no more than 20 pages. 
  3. Recommended use of a tool such as Mendeley or EndNote for reference management and formatting, and choose APA Style 6th Edition.
  4. Make sure that your paper is prepared using the Jurnal Audiens Manuscript Template.

B. Structure of The Manuscript

The manuscript must be prepared and suggested present following the structure:

  1. Title. The title of the paper is maxed 25 words, without an Acronym or abbreviation
  2. Abstract. The Abstract has a maximum of 200-250 words; No citation; State in the abstract a primary objective, research design, methodology, main outcomes and results, and conclusions.
  3. Section structure. Authors are suggested to present their articles in the section structure: Introduction - Literature Review - Method - Results and Discussion – Conclusion
  4. References. Expect a minimum of 8 references primarily with a minimum 60% to journal papers.

The Authors submitting a manuscript do so on the understanding that if accepted for publication, the copyright of the article shall be assigned to Jurnal Audiens as the publisher of the journal. Copyright encompasses rights to reproduce and deliver the article in all forms and media, including reprints, photographs, microfilms, and any other similar reproductions, as well as translations.

Authors should sign Copyright Transfer Agreement when they have approved the final proofs sent by Jurnal Audiens prior to the publication. Jurnal Audiens strive to ensure that no errors occur in the articles that have been published, both data errors and statements in the article.

Jurnal Audiens keep the rights to articles that have been published. Authors are allowed to use their works for any purposes deemed necessary without written permission from Jurnal Audiens with an acknowledgment of initial publication in this journal.

All articles published in Jurnal Audiens are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA) license. You are free to:

  • Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format
  • Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.

The licensor cannot revoke these freedoms as long as you follow the license terms. Under the following terms:

  • Attribution — You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use.
  • ShareAlike — If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you must distribute your contributions under the same license as the original.
  • No additional restrictions — You may not apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from doing anything the license permits.
